NBI ONLINE APPLICATION : Step by Step Procedure.

NBI recently started online application. This was formulated to answer the growing numbers of Filipinos who apply for NBI Clearance.

The NBI Clearance is a very important Philippine document that proves someone of having NO CRIMINAL RECORD. This is very vital when one is applying for a job, whether local or overseas.

Here are the simple ways to make your NBI clearance application a lot easier.

1. FIRST, You must pay GCASH thru your mobile phones or thru any Globe Business Center.

Text : Amount <space> MPIN
Example : 115 <space> 1234

then send to 28829175638053

You will receive a REFERENCE NO for successful transaction. Pls take note of this reference number, you will need this for your booking request.

NBI only accepts denomination of P115, P165, and P415. Any excess will be forfeited.

For those who doesnt have GCASH, you can pay thru any GLOBE Buss. Center. After transcation, The Buss Center will give you the REFERENCE NO.

2. FILL UP THE APPLICATION FORM ONLINE.

Go to http://www.nbi.gov.ph/online_application.html

Provide the reference no. and your mobile no.

For Over the counter or globe business center.

Indicate the date & time of the transaction.

Then after submitting the completely filled up online application form, you will receive a QR CODE. this should be printed.

3. NBI Booking Request. Type on your phones.

Book <space> ref# <space> location>MMDDYYYY <space> HHMM <space>  name

Example : BOOK <space> 123456 <space> NCR <01152012 <space> 0800 < space> Juan dela Cruz 

Then send to 0917-5638054

3. On your appointment day, go to your chosen NBI office or satellite. Proceed to the e-clearance lane. Bring the printed QR CODE as a proof of application & 1 valid gov't ID

Valid ID's are :

• voter's ID
• postal ID
• GSIS ID
• SSS ID
• Passport
• Driver's License
• Original NSO Birth Certificate
• PRC ID

4. QR CODE is scanned.

5. Biometric info will be captured.

6. Printing of your NBI CLEARANCE & Receipt.

The whole process may take only about 30 minutes or so, depending on the volume of the applicant on your chosen NBI satellite office.

To date, there are 27 NBI Clearance Processing Centers already ONLINE and open to serve the public.

on January 2, 2012 onwards : NBI Clearance Center is open NATIONWIDE.
